Builders in Chennai have found potential for expansion and appreciation in certain areas and are promoting flats in Perumbakkam, OMR and Velachery etc. Most of these are classy luxury apartments that are in located close to the major IT and industrial hubs in the city.
People owning flats and homes plan well and decorate the house very carefully but one thing that they do not give importance to is the guest bedroom. Guest rooms are hard to come nowadays with the limited space available in the flats; but if there is a guest room then care should be taken to properly decorate it. The first thing to be remembered is that while decorating a guest room is that we should make the guests feel at home and so the room has to be as comfortable as it can be. Firstly keep the guest room clean so that the person who stays there feels warm and at home. Make sure that there are extra linens stocked up in the cupboard in case they may need it. Stock up the basic amenities like alarm-clock, water, towels, books etc., which they may need. The guests may be carrying some electronic gadgets like cell phones and cameras which they may want to charge, so make sure that connection is available for them to charge the gadgets. Last but one of the important things, is to keep the bathroom stocked with the toiletries that they may need. If they guests are in town for the first time and want to go around, make sure that they have proper directions and guide them properly. Being away from home and still feeling at home is the best thing that we can offer our guests.
