Well-organized storage that suits your everyday needs is something you need to focus on first. You need to organize items in the order in which you can reach them easily and don't have to keep searching. You can even name the boxes for your convenience because a well-planned kitchen will save you a lot of effort and time. You need to keep the things you use most regularly at arms reach, while the bulkier things that you don't use frequently can be tucked inside or stacked on cupboards etc.

Walls to your rescue:

The kitchen usually comes with smaller drawers, and lesser cabinet space, resulting in limited storage space. Hence, the only thing that will come to your rescue is walls, however, walls are often left underutilized. You need to get smart by utilizing your vertical space to the maximum. While magnetic strips are great when you have to hang small kitchen essentials, you can fix hooks and wire racks on your walls to store small containers, or hang pots.

Cornered but not forgotten:

Corners are inevitable in any room but again completely underutilized. There are many solutions in modular designs that provide storage in corners. Or, if you have any open corners you can use it to keep bulky items like a fridge, or cabinet to make sure you have room to move around.

Compact seating:

Compact seatings are gaining a lot of popularity due to their great functionality. If your kitchen extends up as a dining area, then you must make sure you are using compact seating solutions. Counters that can also be used as chopping and serving areas not just function but also give your home a natural modern touch. Using high stools that can be tucked below the counter to save space is the smart way to go about things, this way you can save a lot on space as well.

Float racks to a successful kitchen!

Are kitchen shelves essential? Although uncommon, The answer is yes! You add delicate floating shelves, and sturdy ones-use open shelves to display cutlery or canisters. The advantage of shelves is that they are functional, but they can also be used as decorative pieces.

While the idea of spreading kitchen items around the house is not a welcoming idea at first, it is a great way to segregate storage. For example, you can store cutlery items in the dining area to accentuate the space and add extra storage, and additionally, it is a lot easier to serve.
